What is a company or vendor company?

In Moddule, a company is a profile created to represent the external organizations you do business with. Creating a company allows you to group specific settings and users under one entity. There are two roles a company can have:

Customer: Represents a client, such as a beneficial cargo owner (BCO), whose shipments and orders you manage.
Vendor: Represents an external partner or supplier, primarily used for purchase order (PO) management.

What is a user?

A user is an individual account holder who has been granted access to the Moddule platform. Every user must be associated with a specific company (either a customer or a vendor). User role definitions

Super Manager and Manager: These roles are designed for logistics providers who will manage their customers within Moddule. They provide access to Enterprise settings, allowing users to customize the platform's appearance and manage child companies within Moddule, among other administrative tasks. The key difference between the two is that a Super Manager can create other Super Manager and Manager accounts, whereas a Manager can only create the user types listed below.
Organization Admin: This role is for individual companies, such as beneficial cargo owners (BCOs). Organization Admins have access to Company Settings, which allows them to handle their own user management within their specific company.
Standard User: This is the role for all regular users. Standard users can perform regular platform tasks but do not have access to Company Settings.
